BSN-To-DNP Programs

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) bridge program allows registered nurses with a BSN degree to earn both their MSN and DNP simultaneously. These programs often take less time to complete than it would take to earn both degrees separately.

A DNP is the highest level of education in this field, and BSN-DNP programs typically take between three to five years to complete. In this advanced bridge program, you’ll study topics like pharmacology, pathophysiology, evidenced-based practice, and health policy and economics. Most programs also give you the option to pursue a concentration in areas such as family nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology, informatics, psychiatric mental health, and more. You’ll also be required to complete a set amount of supervised clinical hours, which are determined by your degree program and state’s nursing requirements.

Once you’ve graduated from a BSN-to-DNP program, you’ll be qualified to educate the next generation of nurses, conduct research to advance the nursing and healthcare field, and assume leadership positions within your specialty.

No matter where you live or how busy you are, you can enroll in a doctoral nursing bridge degree program. The programs in this list are offered in both hybrid and traditional formats, with flexible scheduling, allowing you to work towards your degree on your timetable.
